We Finally Moved!!!

It has been ages since I have posted anything! Actually, ages since I have been able to actually make anything! The reason..... We have moved! We sold our home and moved about a mile away to a beautiful foreclosure that we were lucky enough to be able to buy! I absolutely love it!!! So, needless to say life has been a bit crazy around here!! Trying to get un-packed and get all of the little odds and ends in order as well as taking care of the family. I did finally get my craft area set up again though!! So this weekend I got a bunch of new stuff made for my booth down at the store. It was great to be able to use a bit of creative energy! I have tons of ideas for this house but they get to be added to the all ready, to long, to-do list!! We really want this home to be our dream home so we want to make sure that we buy quality, beautiful items for it. Which means they will probably cost more. So, we will need to buy things one at a time and it will take a while but that's ok! The kids love it! We have a nice big backyard now that we will eventually fence, an in-ground trampoline, and a huge deck to hang out on. Plus did I mention our views?? Amazing! I feel so blessed! My craft area has been pushed to the basement. :( But in a few years when we finish the basement it will be fantastic!!

There is still some work to be done. I basically re-painted the entire main living area and still need to paint the hallways and bedrooms but that can wait. Plus for some reason the door was missing in the laundry room so we need to hang a new one and hang cabinets as well. We got all new carpet but because it's so lush and nice our closet doors in the bedrooms don't fit! We need to have them all cut down. A pain, but the carpet is so beautiful its worth it! Oh and another pain, we have gophers from the field next door tearing our yard up as well as mice and voles! Seriously my husband is ready to go postal! He has killed several but we still have more. Luckily they have started building a new church on the lot so hopefully this will only last a few more weeks and then the lawn can start to recover! All in all, we are very excited and I hope all of you will continue to follow along on our journey of making this house our home! XOXO
