Good afternoon everyone!! So, I don't know if you are all followers of the Gluesticks blog but I am, and the wonderful and talented Brandy asked me to do a guest post yesterday of the other Christmas Advent Calendar that I made a couple weeks ago. Check it out here! Brandy is an inspiration to me! She is so good at including her kids in the crafts that she makes. I decided I needed to work harder at that. This countdown is perfect to make with your kids, so Zane and I made it together! Growing up my mom always had one of these hanging up at Christmas time and I loved it. Super simple and super cheap to make. We started by making a scrapbook paper sign for the top that says Merry "Kiss"mas. I then laminated mine so that I can use it year after year. Next pull out some Saranwrap, 24 Hershey Kisses and matching ribbon. Use one long piece of Saranwrap that way it all stays together really well. Wrap each Hershey kiss and then tie a ribbon below it. Than wrap another and another and another..... When you are done tape it to the sign, tape a ribbon loop on the back and hang it up! Starting December first, let your little ones cut a Kiss off each day. Be sure to cut below the ribbon so the next one doesn't come falling out too. Zane had so much fun making this! Thanks for reading! I hope all of you have a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving tomorrow! XOXO

That is such a cute idea! I'd probably have to stick 3 kisses in each for each of the kiddos. Or just make 3 of these. I am a new FB follower from Someday Crafts. Vicky from Mess For Less
